Getting Here

Every route leads to Downtown Brooklyn

New Anthrodam is at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, 333 Adams Street, Brooklyn. Most people get here by subway: the hotel is across the street from ACFR Jay St–MetroTech and a short walk from 2345 Borough Hall.

Riding the Subway

Tap a contactless card or phone at the turnstile, or buy an OMNY card. A ride is $3, and after 12 paid rides in seven days the rest of that week is free.

Check the MTA for weekend service changes before you head out.

From the Airports

  • JFK: take the AirTrain to Howard Beach, then the A straight to Jay St–MetroTech. Or ride the AirTrain to Jamaica, the LIRR to Atlantic Terminal, and the 2345 to Borough Hall.
  • LaGuardia: the free Q70 LaGuardia Link bus runs to Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Av. From there, the F goes straight to Jay St–MetroTech.
  • Newark: take the AirTrain to the Newark Airport rail station, then NJ Transit or Amtrak to New York Penn Station, and the AC to Jay St–MetroTech. The AirTrain is being modernized, and shuttle buses sometimes stand in for it, so check Newark’s AirTrain page before you fly.

The AirTrains at JFK and Newark charge a fee to enter or leave the airport, on top of your subway or train fare.

By Train or Bus

  • Penn Station (Amtrak, NJ Transit, LIRR): the AC to Jay St–MetroTech, or the 23 to Borough Hall.
  • Port Authority Bus Terminal: the AC from 42 St–Port Authority to Jay St–MetroTech.
  • Grand Central (Metro-North): the 45 to Borough Hall.
  • Atlantic Terminal (LIRR): the 2345 to Borough Hall.

By Taxi or Rideshare

  • At the airports, take a yellow taxi from the official taxi stand outside arrivals, and turn down anyone offering a ride inside the terminal. Rideshares pick up at marked areas at each airport, so follow the signs.
  • Taxis from JFK and LaGuardia to Brooklyn use the meter. JFK’s flat fare only covers trips to Manhattan. Tolls, tips and surcharges are extra, and the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission lists the current fares.
  • Taxis and rideshares can drop you at the hotel’s entrance on Adams Street.

By Car

The hotel’s on-site garage is run by SP+ and costs $60 a day.

Exploring the City

  • More adventurous furries can take the 23 to Times Square, Central Park, and the Upper West Side.
  • The 45 go up Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The 86th Street station is a short walk to 5th Avenue, Central Park, and the fabled “Museum Mile” of world-class art museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the spiral-topped Guggenheim Museum.
  • Take the R to the first stop in Manhattan: Whitehall Street/South Ferry, where you can admire the view of Lady Liberty from Battery Park, or take a round-trip ferry ride to Staten Island, absolutely free, and enjoy a close-up look at the statue as you sail by.

Once You’re Here

Staying at the hotel? Check in at the front desk in the lobby first. If your room isn’t ready yet, the hotel can hold your luggage so you don’t have to carry it around. For more about the hotel, see Hotel & Venue.

Then head to Registration on the Promenade to pick up your badge, and find your way around with the venue map.
